Lincolnshire Exports Hit Record £3.8 Billion
Lincolnshire's goods exports reached a record £3.8 billion in 2025, according to new data from HMRC, a 12% increase on the previous year.
Key sectors
- Agri-food: £1.4 billion (up 15%)
- Engineering and manufacturing: £980 million (up 8%)
- Defence and aerospace: £620 million (up 18%)
- Chemicals and pharmaceuticals: £340 million (up 6%)
The growth was driven by strong demand from EU markets, which accounted for 58% of total exports, and emerging markets in the Middle East and South East Asia.
