New Theatre Royal Unveils Star-Led Autumn Season

Lincoln's New Theatre Royal has unveiled its most ambitious autumn season in a decade, spanning a West End touring drama, a major new community production, and the return of its much-loved Christmas pantomime.

The season opens in September 2026 with a national touring production of an Olivier-nominated play, followed in October by 'Lincoln Voices' — a new community piece developed with more than 80 local performers and drawing on the city's wartime history.

"We wanted a season that puts Lincoln talent on the same stage as the big touring shows," said the theatre's artistic director. "The appetite for live performance in the city has never been stronger." Season tickets go on sale this week.
