Lincoln Castle Visitor Numbers Hit All-Time High

Lincoln Castle welcomed 428,000 visitors in 2025, an 8% increase on the previous year, making it the most visited paid attraction in Lincolnshire.

What's working

• The Medieval Wall Walk continues to be the top draw
• The Magna Carta vault attracts significant international visitors
• A new evening events programme added 35,000 visitors
• Extended summer opening hours boosted August numbers by 15%

The castle is now planning a new immersive experience for 2027, details of which will be announced in the autumn.
