New Waterside Restaurant Opens on Brayford Pool

Lincoln's dining scene received a significant boost this week with the opening of The Brayford Kitchen, a modern British restaurant on the south bank of Brayford Pool.

The 80-cover restaurant is the first venture outside London for chef Marcus Riley, who earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand at his Shoreditch restaurant Ember & Grain in 2024.

The menu

The menu focuses on seasonal British ingredients with a strong emphasis on Lincolnshire producers. Highlights include salt marsh lamb from the Wash, Poacher cheese soufflé, and a signature Lincolnshire plum bread dessert.

A 30-seat rooftop terrace will open in May, offering panoramic views of the Cathedral.
