Award-Winning Wolds Farm Shop Opens Café and Cookery School

A family-run farm shop in the Lincolnshire Wolds has opened a 50-cover café and a cookery school, in an expansion that champions the county's growers and producers.

The business, near Louth, now serves breakfast and lunch built almost entirely from Lincolnshire ingredients, while the new cookery school runs seasonal classes — from bread-making to game preparation — led by local chefs and producers.

"Everything we cook, we can tell you which farm it came from, often within a few miles," said the owner. "People want that connection now." The expansion has created 15 jobs, and weekend cookery classes are booked through the summer.
