£40m Riverside Scheme Approved for the Brayford Pool
Plans for a £40 million waterside development on the edge of Lincoln's Brayford Pool have been approved by city planners, paving the way for new homes, offices, and a public square overlooking the marina.
The mixed-use scheme will deliver 90 waterside apartments, 25,000 sq ft of office space aimed at professional and tech firms, and ground-floor cafés and restaurants opening onto a new landscaped square and waterfront walkway.
"The Brayford is one of Lincoln's greatest assets, and this scheme finally opens more of it up to the public," said the council's planning portfolio holder. "It's the kind of high-quality, city-centre development we want to see." Construction is expected to start next year.
