Historic Cornhill Building Reborn as Boutique Workspaces

A landmark Victorian building on Lincoln's Cornhill has been given a new lease of life, reopening as 18 boutique workspaces for the city's growing community of small creative and professional firms.

The Grade II-listed building, empty for several years, has been sensitively restored — retaining its original ironwork and tiled floors — by a Lincoln-based developer specialising in heritage conversions. All but three of the studios were let before completion.

"There's huge demand for characterful, flexible space in the city centre from small firms that have outgrown working from home," said the developer. "Bringing a building like this back into use is good for them and good for the Cornhill." The remaining studios are available now.
