First Homes Complete at Lincoln's Western Growth Corridor

The first residents have moved into Lincoln's largest-ever urban extension, as the £400 million Western Growth Corridor reaches a major milestone with the completion of its first phase of homes.

The scheme, west of the Brayford Pool, will eventually deliver around 3,200 homes alongside schools, commercial space, and a network of parks and cycle routes. The first 120 homes are now occupied, with a primary school and local centre due to follow in 2027.

"This is a project decades in the making, and to see families actually living here is a real turning point," said the leader of the City of Lincoln Council. "It's about giving Lincoln room to grow without losing what makes it special." The next phase of construction begins this summer.
